I tried it for the first time. This place is not very big. As I understand it is a business passed down from father to son. I loved the dry beans. Probably one of the best beans I've had in Istanbul is the one I've had here. I wonder their doner. It looked delicious

One of these rare places where everything is just so. Where the waiter will tell you that everything that's on offer that day is great but that really you should get the lamb because that's "perfect". Where said confit lamb is indeed perfect; deeply flavorful, holding its shape just long enough to be pierced by a fork and transferred into your mouth, but then instantly disintegrating. Where the fasulye do likewise. Where the dolma I usually hate aren't just stuffed with mostly rice but lots of meat as well. Where you should get the candied pumpkin dessert, which of course comes with a complimentary chai.

Best food I ate in istanbul This local shop is one of the very tasty authentic Turkish restaurants. I can't express how much I loved this food here 12/10 Price is very reasonable too

Mostly locals were found eating here so definitely not a tourist trap. I tried their döner porsiyon and it was really nice. Service is also pretty fast.
